Signal Box Revisited

My signal box at the corner of 8th and Pine Ave. in Downtown Long Beach is in such a high traffic area that it was getting defaced regularly. Luckily not on the foreground images but only the background. The development agency contracted me to make some additions of dog walkers around the whole box.

Just Completed New Illustration for LA GENTE newsmagazine

Just completed my newest cover art for La Gente Newsmagazine.
Titled: Latina Deco
Painting is based on the theme "Latinos and the Future", the latest issue should be coming out in a couple weeks.

New Murals at SEASIDE PARK


THESE ARE TWO MURAL PROJECTS PAINTED OVER THE COURSE OF 3 MONTHS.

PEACEMAKERS; mural stands at 10' high and 325' long. It represents the theme of Peace and non- violence. In the mural there are 11 portraits of peace and non violence social and political activists. They include; Gandhi, Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela, Robert F. Kennedy, Chuon Nath, Cesar Chavez, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, Dalai Lama, Dolores Huerta,&Harvey Milk

Wetland Wildlife; is a mural that is 225' long and is located on the North Wall of  Seaside Park. It represents the type of wildlife  native to Southern California. Pictured are images of local flora&fauna such as Egrets, Herons and butterflies.
